Forensic Focus - December 2009Cutting through the smoke and mirrors |
Welcome to the fourth and final edition of Forensic Focus for 2009
It’s hard to believe that we are now only a couple of weeks from Christmas and the end of another year.
When fraud, theft of confidential information and other trust problems arise, it is often critical to get good experienced people on site immediately to secure evidence and start investigating. We’ve always operated as a national team with experienced forensic staff in Auckland and Wellington covering the country. We recently appointed experienced staff in Hamilton, Christchurch and Dunedin to provide a local forensic point of contact, so we can now have local people on the ground almost anywhere in New Zealand within a few hours.
Your local contacts are:
National leader: Barry Jordan
Auckland: Jason Weir
Hamilton: Roberta Parshotam
Wellington: Lorinda Kelly
Christchurch: Tim Burnside
Dunedin: David Seath
In this issue:
- Whistleblowing - Give your employees a voice
- Fraud - The fight against credit card fraud
- Metadata - What is it and how is it important?
- Recovering the proceeds of crime
We trust you get a chance to kick back, unwind and enjoy yourself over the holiday season with friends and family.
Best wishes for the festive season and the new year!
