Nick has more than 25 years of experience and leads Deloitte’s International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) service offering, which has coordinated and supported nearly 100 IFRS assessment or conversion projects in the U.S. over the past several years. Nick has been involved in and supported numerous assessment and conversion engagements and led the firm’s effort to leverage this experience and knowledge in the development of IFRS solutions. He focuses on the integration of the accounting, system, tax and project management dimensions of an IFRS conversion, to provide practical suggestions for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of IFRS efforts.
Nick has worked extensively with clients in the manufacturing and high-tech industries. He is a frequent speaker at seminars, webcasts, conferences and other forums, on best practices in operationalizing the requirements of IFRS, and convergence issues. These have included forums sponsored by major technology firms on common conversion challenges, as well as hosting Deloitte’s co-sponsored IFRS Bootcamp with the Financial Executives International, and Deloitte’s annual IFRS Summit.
Education and certifications
- Nick is a certified public accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
