Anti-Corruption

ACT Against Corruption Today

“On International Anti-Corruption Day, I call on everyone to work towards a sustainable future where corruption is exposed and rejected, where integrity prevails, and where the hopes and dreams of millions are realised.”

Ban Ki-moon
United Nations Secretary-General

The United Nations’ (UN) International Anti-Corruption Day, 09 December 2012, aims to raise public awareness of corruption and what people can do to fight it.

Corruption is a wide-spread problem within governments and society alike. The incidence of corruption has reached high levels and by many accounts is becoming systemic in character. Business and government have yet to gain an adequate understanding of this complex phenomenon and its multi-causal nature - harming the country's economy and undermining service delivery obligations – mostly to the detriment of the poor.

Deloitte can work with you to plan and execute an integrated solution to deter, detect and prevent corruption.
