This two day training session developed by ISACA and ITPreneurs is one of the few official approved COBIT training courses in Southern Africa, and is delivered by ISACA accredited trainers. The course also provides 16 hours ISACA CPE credits.
This course is for the IT or business professional who has limited knowledge of COBIT. It addresses the benefits of and how to realise effective IT governance using the COBIT framework. The course explains the COBIT framework using practical examples and case studies. It examines all the components of COBIT including control objectives, management guidelines and maturity models. The course helps professionals understand how to use COBIT in a logical way and validates this knowledge in an interactive learning environment. The course concludes with a module to prepare participants to take an optional online COBIT Foundation exam, which can lead to the achievement of a COBIT Foundation certificate.
