The seventeenth annual Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework convention on Climate Change (COP 17) is fast approaching and Global is working closely with the South African firm to promote our efforts around the event.  The first publication produced, Change that’s appropriate:  NAMAs and the new carbon policy frontier, discusses the details of National Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs), how they can empower developing countries to mitigate and adapt to climate change, and how as part of NAMAs developed nations can assemble the financing, technology and access to experts needed to achieve solid progress in reducing carbon emissions.
