Every year, based on insight from our technology subject matter specialists, input from some of our largest clients and discussions with industry analysts and alliance members, we identify the ten trends that we anticipate will have an impact for the CIO in the coming year and beyond. For 2013, the trends will include big data, social engineering, proactive cyber defense, and mobility beyond smartphones and tablets. The Tech Trends 2013 report will be released in March and Deloitte will be hosting an event to discuss the latest Trends. The event is scheduled for 6 March (Cape Town) and 7 March (Johannesburg).

We are pleased to announce Mark White, Principal US Consulting Chief Technology Officer, Deloitte Consulting LLP, will join us for the second time as our guest speaker and will be discussing Technology Trends of 2012 – Elements of Post Digital.
