Jannie Mouton is the Executive Chairman of PSG Group. After completing his BComm (Hons) in 1969 at the University of Stellenbosch, he then qualified as a CA (SA) in 1973. Mouton started his career with Federale Volksbeleggings Limited as Financial Manager. He was co-founder and Managing Director of SMK, whereafter he founded PSG Group Limited and later Capitec Bank. Mouton is Chairman and Director of various companies within the PSG Group and also serves on the boards of Zeder Investments, Kaap Agri, Steinhoff International and the KWV. He has 29 years of experience in financial management and investment banking.
