Deloitte Director appointed as Chairman of the IIA SA
Justine Kathan Mazzocco, the head of Deloitte’s Internal Audit competency, has been elected as the Chairman of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) SA Board, effective for the next two years.
“I am deeply honoured by the appointment and would like to use this opportunity to increase the value perception of internal audit in organisations. Internal audit plays a key role in the fulfillment of any organisation’s strategy” said Justine.
This new role is a huge coup for the firm as it positions Deloitte at the forefront of the Internal Audit profession from an eminence perspective. Interestingly, US partner, Patty Miller is the Global Chairman of the IIA Inc currently.
