We recognise our obligation to contribute towards the sustainable development of our communities and the broader society. Corporate Social Investment (CSI) has and always will play a critical part of the business strategy in Deloitte Southern Africa. CSI is not only an opportunity for the firm to participate in a meaningful way to the upliftment of the communities from where we do business, but also a means to add business value through value chain activities whilst demonstrating people’s commitment to the firm and its shared values.
Deloitte Foundation
The Deloitte Foundation is an important vehicle to execute the activities of our corporate citizenship strategy by engaging and involving Deloitte staff members across Southern Africa. Through the Deloitte Foundation, we are helping to make a difference in local communities by providing considerable financial investment as well as non-financial support of time and talent from our employees.
The Foundation focuses its activities on two main areas:

- Enterprise development/ Job creation
