Deloitte appointed LPA receivers to Saltmill Limited, SE1

23 April 2013

Matt Cowlishaw and David Langton of business advisory firm Deloitte have been appointed as LPA Receivers over the property assets of Saltmill Limited.

Saltmill owns a freehold property at 1 Newington Causeway, Elephant & Castle, SE1. The property comprises a Public House at the basement and ground floor, with 10 apartments on the five upper floors. A commercial lease is in place with a pub operator and the apartments are substantially let.

Matt Cowlishaw, partner in the Restructuring Services team at Deloitte, said: “As well as being tenanted and income producing, the property has redevelopment potential as a result of the Southwark Council and Lend Lease planned regeneration project in and around Elephant & Castle, which will have a positive impact on the property”.

Deloitte has appointed Grainger plc as asset managers, who will shortly be placing the property on the market.

Any interested parties should contact Brian Walford on 0121 695 5285.
