Ejaz is a Managing Director in the U.S. Life Science and Health Care practice at Deloitte Corporate Finance LLC (DCF). He has more than 15 years of experience providing transactional, strategic, capital markets and restructuring advice to companies across a broad spectrum of the health care industry, including acute and post-acute care, ancillary services, physician practices, managed care, as well as life sciences and healthcare IT.
Prior to joining DCF, Elahi led the health care industry practice for a boutique investment banking firm. Prior to that, he played a key role in establishing the M&A practice at a health care-focused capital advisory firm and founded an ancillary services provider where he served as a member of the senior management team.
Elahi has been involved in a number of notable transactions, including the largest not-for-profit to for-profit conversion of a health system and the restructuring and subsequent sale of one of the nation’s largest diagnostic imaging providers.
