Deloitte Vietnam and ACCA organize the “Lighting up your future” scholarship Awarding Ceremony 2012

On 8 and 10 October 2012, Deloitte Việt Nam and ACCAorganized the “Lighting up your future” Scholarship Awarding Ceremony for 41 disadvantaged students with major of business, economics, finance, banking, accounting and auditing at economic and financial universities in Hanoi and HCM City. The Deputy Minister of the Education and Training Tran Quang Quy, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountant Tran Van Ta, representatives of Deloitte Vietnam, ACCA and participants of universities, teachers, parents and students participated the ceremony.

 

The “Lighting up your future” Scholarship launched in April 2012 has been drawing great attention 

of many students in many economic and financial universities in Hanoi and HCMC. The selected students are those facing with difficulties in life but having excellent study results and great desire 

to develop their career in the audit or advisory professions. 

 

Besides receiving the scholarship worth of VND 10 million, the selected applicants will be also offered Deloitte’s special summer internship programs for students from 2nd year at university. Especially, the awarded students will be also sponsored by Deloitte Vietnam’s Partners and Directors, who are excellent professionals in accounting, financial and consulting. They will accompany with the awarded students during one year to share ideas and inspire them to overcome difficulties and develop their career.
