Firm History
The British Virgin Islands firm was founded in 1978, and in1985 became part of Touche Ross International. In 1990 it became a member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and in 1995 adopted the name “Deloitte & Touche”. In 1995, Mark Chapman moved from the Cayman Islands office of Deloitte & Touche and was admitted as partner responsible for audit, accounting and consulting services. In 1997 he became Managing Partner. In 2001, Ron Potter was admitted as a partner of Deloitte & Touche BVI and undertook the responsibilities for Assurance services. Mark Chapman retained the responsibilities for the Consulting, Tax and FAS and remains the Office Managing Partner. In 2011 Richard White, Carlene Romney and Chad Maduro were promoted to directors of the firm.

- BVI Chamber of Commerce and Hotel Association
Community Activities
The firm has been involved in a variety of community based activities for many years. Among other activities, the firm is currently involved with:
- BVI Olympic Committee
- Sponsorship of Boys Club and Culinary Program at Althea Scatliffe Primary School
- Impact Day in support of BVI Special Olympics
- Partnership with BVI Recycling
- Membership in Rotary Clubs of the BVI
- Sponsorship of sporting activities, including BVI Triathlon Federation, Youth Squash and Youth Softball
