History
In 1973 this name was changed to “Lara Rodríguez & Asociados”, when incorporated into “Coopers & Lybrand”.
Hernán Marambio Cortés opened the firm “Hernán Marambio C. & Asociados”,and in 1974 joins the organization of Alexander Grant Tansley Witt (Grant Thornton)
Both firms merged to form “Lara Rodríguez, Marambio & Asociados”, which later would become known as “Lara Marambio & Asociados”
“Lara Marambio & Asociados” joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu due to the merger of “Coopers & Lybrand” and “Price Waterhouse LLP”.
The firms “Porta, Cachafeiro, Laría & Asociados” and “Romero-Muci & Asociados” integrated to Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu through “Lara Marambio & Asociados”. This integration places Venezuela among the first operations of Deloitte in Latin America.
