Deloitte a Leader Among SAP ERP Implementation Service Providers in North America
NEW YORK, Jan. 4, 2011— Deloitte announced today that it is positioned in the Leaders quadrant of Gartner's September 2010 Magic Quadrant for SAP ERP Implementation Service Providers, North America.
"This recognition represents a major step forward for Deloitte's United States-based SAP practices and provides confirmation that our continued investment strategies related to people and methodologies are paying off," said Bill Allison, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP and SAP practice leader in the U.S.
According to Gartner, Leaders are performing well, and gaining traction and "mind share" in the market. Leaders have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in both markets.
Gartner evaluates service providers on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision. When the two sets of criteria are evaluated together, the resulting analysis provides a view of how well the provider performs a spectrum of services compared with its peers and how well it is positioned for the future. This evaluation is a snapshot in time. The competitive nature of the ERP service provider market over time affects the relative position of evaluated companies.
