Meet Julia RichmanConsultant, Public Sector, Deloitte Consulting LLP |
Julia Richman is a consultant in the Boston office with nearly six years of strategy and consulting experience in the public sector. She has worked with federal, state, local and not-for-profit entities.
One of Julia’s recent engagements was assisting a large U.S. city's Department of Transportation with congestion mitigation through congestion pricing. Julia led the strategic planning and policy stream of work, helping the city to reconcile the operational demands of its project with a legislative framework. Julia is knowledgeable about integrated corridor management, transportation and tolling technologies, public-private partnerships, congestion and user pricing, intelligent transportation systems, regional and urban transportation planning, and the legal and legislative frameworks for transportation.
Julia authored an upcoming paper from Deloitte Research on implementing user pricing within America’s unique political and institutional transportation demands. She has a master's degree in public policy from the University of Chicago, focused on urban transportation planning and civic engagement. She is a member of the Boston Chapter of WTS International and graduated from the Colorado Institute for Leadership Training in 2005. She pursued her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, with bachelor’s degrees in government, English and art history.
