In the aftermath of the global recession, the financial performance of many multinational corporations is still under tremendous pressure. The stress is causing lower than normal profits in many cases, which is leading to perceived transfer pricing abuses. This, in turn, is likely to result in increased enforcement activity by tax authorities around the world, including in the US.
