House Republicans propose parameters, expedited procedures for enacting tax reform in 2013 – House Republican leaders introduced legislation July 24 that calls for the enactment of a comprehensive tax reform bill in 2013 that would, among other things, reduce the top corporate and individual tax rates to no more than 25 percent, repeal the alternative minimum tax, and move the United States to a territorial system for taxing foreign-source income of U.S. multinationals.
