- As Senate adjourns for August, Finance Committee health bill details remain elusive – The Senate left for its summer recess without further consideration of health reform legislation and with no official proposals for revenue-raising options from the Finance Committee.
- IRS stays the course with final section 482 services regulations – Final section 482 regulations regarding the treatment of intercompany service transactions and the allocation of income from intangibles incorporate some minor modifications in response to public comments, but do not fundamentally alter the policies reflected in the temporary regulations issued in 2006.
