  • Camp, Baucus continue tax reform road tour as Congress returns from recess – Congress returns to Capitol Hill September 9 following their month-long district work period, but House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich., and Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., will be on the road taking their Simpler Taxes for America Tour to Memphis, Tenn., as they continue their efforts to generate public support for tax reform in advance of their respective committee mark-ups expected this fall.
  • G20 leaders call for automatic tax information exchange standard – The leaders of the G20 at their summit in St. Petersburg, Russia, released a statement calling for the development of a new global standard for the automatic exchange of tax information.
