Tom McGee Tom McGee is the national managing partner of Deloitte Growth Enterprise Services, with responsibility for the delivery of services to the firm’s mid-market and privately held clients, and providing a distinctive client service experience tailored to their unique needs. Tom sits on the U.S. Operating Group and is a member of the Global Audit Leadership Team. He formerly served as the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) chief of staff and secretary of the DTTL Executive, reporting directly to the DTTL CEO. Previous to that role, he served in a number of leadership roles in Deloitte’s Pacific Southwest region. Tom has extensive client service experience serving numerous mid-market public and private companies as well as some of Deloitte’s largest clients such as Dole Food Company, Kingston Technology, Nissan, Office Depot, and Toshiba. He has significant experience working with his clients’ senior management and assisting in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity offerings, and balance-sheet restructurings. Tom is a noted speaker on the middle market, with appearances on CNBC and interviews and quotes in national media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, CFO magazine, and The Hill, among others. In addition to his work at Deloitte, Tom is active in numerous civic, charitable, and academic organizations. He currently sits on the boards of Covenant House International and the New York Catholic Foundation, as well as the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of New York. He previously served on the boards of United Way of Orange County, Junior Achievement of Southern California, and Catholic Charities of Los Angeles.

Jim Brady Jim serves as the National Audit and Enterprise Risk Services (AERS) leader for Deloitte Growth Enterprise Services. He also serves as the chief executive officer of Deloitte & Touche AERS India Private Limited, and has been in this role since 2008. Jim has 30 years of business and leadership experience in various functional and marketplace leadership roles, including: Central Atlantic AERS Regional Managing Partner, Southeast AERS Regional Managing Partner, and U.S. AERS Talent Leader. Jim has extensive experience serving as Lead Client Service Partner for a variety of clients across industries including consumer products, manufacturing, and technology, media, and telecommunications. He is a member of the AERS senior leadership team and serves on the board of directors of Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Julia Cloud Julia serves as the National Tax Leader for Deloitte Growth Enterprise Services. She also serves as the National Service Line Leader for the Private Client Advisors practice of Deloitte Tax LLP, focused on providing detailed and objective tax and wealth planning advice and services to private companies and their owners, and affluent individuals and families. Julia has over 20 years of experience in structuring acquisitions and divestitures, implementing accounting method changes and addressing tax planning and compliance to include individual tax planning, trust and estate issues, and charitable planning.

Kevin McFarlane Kevin is a leader of the firm’s Corporate Finance practice in the Pacific Southwest. His sixteen years of investment banking experience includes advising both public and private entities on a variety of strategic and financing initiatives with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures as well as the raising of equity, hybrid-equity and debt capital from both the public and private markets. He has served as a lead advisor for companies across a broad spectrum of industries, including aerospace and defense, hospitality and leisure, paper and forest products, retail, consumer products, media, software, telecommunications, technology, transportation and general industrial manufacturing. He has served clients on cross border transactions in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Harvey Michaels Harvey currently serves as the National Consulting Leader for Deloitte Growth Enterprise Services. He is also the Regional Managing Director for Deloitte Consulting in its Mid-America Region. Harvey has played many roles over his 29 year career at Deloitte including leadership positions in both the FAS practice and former Solutions practice (Consulting Middle Market services). He serves as the Energy partner on a wide variety of Oil & Gas, Petro-chemical, and Utility clients with financial analysis, performance improvement and financial transformation projects. Harvey is currently the lead client service partner at a major energy client as well as the Consulting Point of Contact for several other clients in Mid-America. He has had extensive global experience serving many large and mid market companies in the U.S. and in South America, Europe, The Pacific Rim and the Middle East.

Pete Shimer Pete is the Managing Partner of the Seattle office. In addition, he is the National CFO Forums Leader and the National Marketplace Leader for Deloitte Growth Enterprise Services. His previous roles include being Partner-In-Charge for the Seattle Audit group and Partner-In-Charge of the Pacific Northwest Consumer Business Industry Group. Pete was also the founder of the Pacific Northwest CFO Roundtable in 2004. With over 27 years at Deloitte, Pete has focused primarily on retail, consumer business and other supply chain companies. Currently he serves as Lead Client Service Partner or Advisory Partner for several program clients, including NIKE, Univar, The Gap, Costco, Weyerhaeuser and Clearwire. Pete is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington State Society of CPAs, and he serves on the board of several nonprofit organizations, including The Seattle Foundation, Seattle Children’s Hospital, University of Washington Foundation, the YMCA of Greater Seattle, and Washington Premier Football Club. Pete graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Business and concentration in Accounting. He has also completed Executive Programs at Northwestern University (Kellogg), University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), and Columbia University.
