Meet Diane Murray
Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP
Diane Murray is a principal with Deloitte Consulting in the Financial Services practice, specializing in helping clients in the banking sector implement complex systems development programs. She is currently leading the Technology Program Management Market Offering – focusing on helping client with IT initiatives involving complex program integration and custom software development.
With a strong background in IT Program Management, software development and COTS integration, Diane has 20 years of experience and has led numerous successful projects. Among these are program planning and management for a $450M business transformation project at a large financial services organization, the deployment of two enterprise systems that support compliance and submissions processing a large U.S. government agency, and a document management solution that facilitates bank supervision for a federal regulator. She has served numerous other public and private sector clients. Her projects have received numerous awards, including two Hammer Awards for Excellence in Government and an IRS Business Systems Development Director’s Award.
Diane is active in Deloitte’s Womens’ Initiative (WIN) – an organization that focuses on providing all employees the opportunity to succeed and work in an environment and create a culture of inclusion and diversity. In 2008 Diane served on the Advisory Board for the e-Government Institute’s Program Management Summit, and was a guest speaker on identifying and managing program requirements and risk.
Diane holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the College of William and Mary and a master’s degree in Computer Science from Hood College.
