Meet Mark Shilling
Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP
Mark Shilling, a Deloitte Consulting LLP principal based in New York, is the National Service Line Leader for the Information Management (IM) practice. In this role, Mark leads an organization of over 2,400 dedicated professionals who provide solutions to help companies address specific business challenges by unlocking the value buried deep in their data. The IM practice helps our clients in their efforts to get the right information to the right people at the right time, by endeavoring to turn mountains of data into valuable insight.
Mark has also been a member of Deloitte Consulting LLP’s global Financial Transformation leadership team, responsible for driving collaboration, market differentiation and enablement across industries. Mark has spent the majority of his career designing and delivering strategy, operations and technology solutions for the Finance function. His focus has been to help CFO organizations cut cost, improve controls, strengthen capabilities to manage the business and improve capacity for future growth – grounded in leveraging information management and ERP solutions.
Mark originally started consulting as a graduate with Price Waterhouse in London and undertook a variety of roles as he developed through the firm, becoming a Partner after the IBM acquisition. Mark also ran a strategic change function in industry, before joining Deloitte in 2008.
Hailing from Canterbury in the UK, Mark currently resides in Summit, New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and information systems at the University of Leeds in UK.
