Andre Hugo is the Director of Deloitte Digital in South Africa. As Director of Deloitte Digital, Andre’s strategic objectives are to assist clients in leveraging disruptive digital technologies, enabling them to cost effectively deploy new business models and access new markets or revenue streams. From strategy development to execution, Andre and his team have delivered projects to B2B and B2C clients across South Africa and internationally.
Andre was also the the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for the South African firm. In his role as CMO, he was responsible for the development and execution of the marketing strategy for Deloitte South Africa. He is also a member of the Global Innovation Council, Global Knowledge Management Program Oversight Board, Deloitte South Africa IT Advisory Board, and Deloitte South Africa Social Networking Council.
Since joining Deloitte in 1995, Andre has served as Innovation Director, responsible for establishing new service offerings within Deloitte, as well as the Director of Application Management Services. To date, he and his team have identified and commercialized 11 new service offerings, spanning multiple industries and competencies in the firm.
On the personal side, Andre enjoys mountain biking, watersports and looking for new gadgets. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a graduate of the University of Cape Town and University of South Africa, where he studied Accounting, Auditing and Taxation.
