Internet Protocol Version 6: Is the Sky Finally Falling?

As connected computing becomes more ubiquitous in our personal and professional lives, unique Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for these devices are becoming a scarce resource. The current IP version 4 is expected to soon run out of unique addresses and organizations with external communications requirements are being urged to migrate to the next version – IPv6. But where should you start, how and when?

On a Technology Executives Dbriefs webcast, Internet Protocol Version 6: Is the Sky Finally Falling? held on April 4, 2013, Deloitte Consulting LLP principal Mark White and director Eddie Reddick discussed:

  • Implications of migration to IPv6.
  • Steps that organizations can take to prepare.
  • Examples of early adopters that have made the transition to IPv6.

Watch the Dbriefs webcast replay to learn how you can prepare now for the inevitable advent of IPv6.
