And an understanding of the processes and tools to appropriately plan and manage these large, complex technology implementation projects is essential to avoid missed deadlines and cost overruns.
With more than 16 years of experience delivering complex, large-scale, critical engagements for financial services, non-profit and federal clients, Humbelina (Humby) Mohnkern helps clients avoid these pitfalls. Utilizing her extensive experience in program management and process redesign, she helps clients streamline business operations; lead significant technology implementation initiatives; deploy broad employee training programs; and position IT organizations to improve delivery against business needs. She has performed highly-sophisticated work for some of the largest federal agencies and financial services companies in the world.
Some of her recent client engagements include:
- Modernized the licensing, enforcement and compliance system of a federal client, moving them away from a paper-based application process and increasing the amount of cases closed per month by 100%
- Led the process redesign and delivery of a reporting data warehouse for a non-profit client reducing overall data compilation and report generation time by 87%, improving the reliability and quality of data, and enabling advanced analytics
- Led a team that aided a major financial services company design and deliver compliance training across seven geographically-dispersed lines of business to more than 6,000 executives and employees in a year, in response to a regulatory review of operations that mandated the training
In addition to her work with clients, Humby serves as the lead for Deloitte’s Program Integration and Management (PIM) capability practice, and is one of the Greater Washington Champions for Deloitte’s Women’s Initiative (WIN). She also contributes her skills and knowledge to an educational non-profit organization, College Summit.
