Meet Vikram Mahidhar
Director, Deloitte LLP
Vikram Mahidhar is a director in Deloitte LLP’s innovation group. In his leadership role, he focuses on identifying emerging business ideas and driving development and commercialization of new products and services. At present, Vikram has been involved in the development of next generation business intelligence products and services comprising big data, semantic intelligence, analytics and mobile.
Previously, Vikram has held several leadership positions at Deloitte. In his leadership role with the research and eminence group, Vikram managed multi-industry research programs, delivering ideas and insights to senior executives at global companies. He consulted for Fortune 500 companies in corporate strategy and risk management and helped them identify emerging trends pertaining to business, technology and society. Vikram also helped lead an organization in emerging markets, where he helped develop and manage a 200-person team that delivered strategic services, financial research, market research and analytics to global clients. He has led numerous primary research studies, authored business and academic publications and delivered speeches at eminent forums.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Vikram worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company.
Vikram earned a Masters of Sciences degree in systems design from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also earned an MBA in finance from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from University of Pune, India. Vikram lives in Boston with his wife, their son and daughter.
