Meet Omar I. Aguilar

Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP

Omar Aguilar is the Americas Regional Strategy & Operations Leader for Deloitte Consulting LLP, and US Senior Partner for Deloitte Consulting Brazil, focused on supporting and serving multinational, multilatina and local clients in the Americas. His areas of specialty include enterprise cost management, margin and profit improvement, restructuring, turnarounds and business model transformations.

During 2013 and 2014, following the acquisition of the Monitor Group by Deloitte, Omar served as Managing Partner for Monitor Deloitte Brasil in Sao Paulo prior to integrating this practice into Deloitte Brasil. Omar's broad consulting career and business experience, along with Deloitte's breadth and global scale, enable him to focus on providing innovative and lasting solutions to clients' complex problems at the CEO and CXO levels in the US, the Americas, and globally.

Omar joined Deloitte in 2004 as a direct admit partner following Deloitte's acquisition of Gunn Partners, where he served as Managing Director.

He has also published widely on the topic of sustainable and scalable change, and has been quoted by or has written for Business Finance, The Journal of Cost Management, and The Wall Street Journal.

Omar holds bachelor's and master's degrees in nuclear engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a master in business administration degree with honors from the University of Notre Dame.
