Meet Asish Ramchandran

Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP

Asish Ramchandran, a Deloitte Consulting LLP principal, is the National Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures & Restructuring IT Lead for Deloitte’s M&A practice. In his current role, Asish is responsible for all aspects of Deloitte’s M&A and Restructuring IT offering.

Based on the west coast, Asish has extensive experience in transformation, integration, divestiture, carve-out, restructuring and technology management leadership. He has led large-scale programs in multiple geographies focused on portfolio planning, execution, process re-engineering and multiples realization in M&A contexts. In addition, he has worked on more than 30 major initiatives in the M&A area and provided senior advisory services worldwide.

Asish has been recognized as a recipient of M&A Advisor’s 2013 “40 Under 40 Award”

Asish has driven target identification, screening and due diligence followed by transaction planning and execution of portfolio realignment (involving more than 1,000 functions) at clients ranging from $150 million to over $60 billion in annual revenues. He has led all aspects of managing, planning, blueprinting and carving out two separate divisions for one of the world’s largest processed products companies with significant operations in over 60 countries.

Asish led all IT aspects (including migrating operating headquarters to Asia Pacific) of carving out, transforming, stabilizing, standardizing and standing up of what was then one of the world’s largest privately held high-tech firms. Additionally, Asish has led key aspects of the merger and subsequent portfolio realigning divestiture for a life sciences firm impacting operations in several Asian countries with tax and third-party logistics implications.

In addition, he has presented, led discussions and participated in panels at large cross-industry forums and on college campuses.
