Meet Lisa Thompson
Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP
Lisa is a principal with Deloitte Consulting LLP in the U.S. Strategy service line Monitor Deloitte. She has nearly two decades of experience helping clients with their organic growth goals as well as increasing gross profits through better pricing. Lisa has worked in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, hospital products and supplies,pharmaceuticals, distribution, specialty and commodity chemicals, business services and information services. She has worked for Fortune 100 companies in mature industries and with start-up companies in emerging industries as well as mid-sized firms.
Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting LLP, Lisa was a senior partner at Monitor Group and served on the firm’s board of directors. Before that, Lisa was a vice president and managing director at Strategic Pricing Group (SPG), which was acquired by Monitor Group in 2005. Lisa joined SPG in 1996 with a background in sales, sales management, and marketing. She managed the firm's Chicago office and led the Industrials and Manufacturing Practice and the Medical and Hospital Products Practice.
Lisa has lent her experience to several publications, writing articles for Visionary Pricing: Reflections and Advances in Honor of Dan Nimer,and the Journal of the Professional Pricing she has taught at the University of Chicago Executive Education Center, AT&T Learning Center, Institute for International Research and the Professional Pricing Society.
