Meet Bansi Nagji

Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP

Bansi Nagji is a principal of Deloitte Consulting, LLP and based in the firm’s office in Boston. He leads the US Strategy Service Line and the Global practice of Monitor Deloitte, which was formed by the global merger of Monitor Group with Deloitte in January 2013. Bansi also sits on the Board of Deloitte, LLP.

Prior to the merger with Deloitte, Bansi was President of Monitor Group and led the firm’s global innovation practice.

Bansi has more than 20 years of consulting experience, working closely with senior leaders and boards of clients on their enterprise-wide growth and innovation challenges. His client service is global and focuses on strategy and innovation, primarily in the life sciences and consumer sectors.

He is a noted expert on the topic of innovation and has authored several papers and articles on the topic, including recent articles for Pharmaceutical Executive, The Conference Board Review and two feature articles in Rotman Magazine. He also co-authored the lead feature article in the May 2012 issue of Harvard Business Review, entitled Managing Your Innovation Portfolio.

Prior to joining Monitor, he worked as a solicitor in London with one of Europe’s largest law firms. He holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in law from Cambridge University, England and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, France.
