Meet Greg Szwartz
Greg Szwartz, a director in Deloitte Consulting LLP, specializes in advanced analytics and modeling, where he is focused on applying quantitative analysis and data-driven decision-making to assist health care providers and Life Sciences organizations in the commercial market to reach their business objectives. Greg understands the particular needs of his clients’ businesses, develops practical business solutions based on his deep insights and experience, and brings change that can produce results.
Greg has more than 15 years of experience pushing the envelope in the use of analytical techniques to advance the ability of sales and marketing organizations to gain competitive advantage. Greg assists companies in their efforts to apply insights derived from analytical models, versus the traditional approach based on historical knowledge, to drive strategic plans and targeted marketing activities.
Some of his recent projects include:
- Leading the development of a social media analytics practice across multiple industries, with initial focus on the Life Sciences and Health Care provider industries
- Developing an application that allows large network analysis in order to determine patterns of influence in social and other large networks
- Designing a global market access strategy toolset for a major biotechnology company, currently used to balance insight and experience across several established and emerging markets
Prior to joining Deloitte, Greg developed a series of patient-based simulations for use in therapy-area planning. Greg and his team created care delivery models in support of over 20 brand plans across various therapy areas. These models supported a range of services from target product profile definition, to in-line brand promotional mix, to stakeholder value messaging for both payer and provider
Greg earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and his graduate degree from Harvard University.
