Christine Armstrong, RHIA, MBA, has more than 25 years of health care experience within industry and consulting organizations. Her primary areas of focus have included leadership of large-scale consulting projects related to revenue cycle, information system implementation, operations improvement, productivity and supply chain projects at academic medical organizations (AMO) and large integrated delivery systems. Additionally, she has extensive international experience with operational improvement projects including ICD-10 coding quality improvement and training projects in the Middle East and Europe. She is a national speaker on many topics such as coding, documentation, compliance, revenue cycle improvement and ICD-10 readiness.
Chris’ experience within industry has included roles in revenue cycle and operational management and as corporate director of information systems. She led various revenue growth driven projects through enhanced revenue cycle operations, charge capture, coding, improved case mix, cash acceleration and service line growth engagements. She has also led the implementation of IT software applications from design and process redesign through live operations.
