Meet John Fiore

Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP

John J. Fiore, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP, is the National Leader of the Human Capital Transaction services practice in which he focuses on joint efforts with Deloitte & Touche LLP and Deloitte Tax LLP to provide services designed to help our clients in their efforts to realize the economic value of their transaction. He also serves as Human Capital’s North America Retirement practice leader, and most recently has focused on the compensation and employee benefit issues related to clients involved in merger and acquisition activity.

John has more than 20 years of consulting experience in the Human Capital Total Rewards services practice and has primarily worked with Health Care Providers, as well as clients in Financial Services Telecommunications.

John’s professional accreditations include Fellow, Conference of Actuaries; Member, American Academy of Actuaries; Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) Enrolled Actuary; and Associate, Society of Actuaries.

John received his bachelor's degree in statistics and economics from the University of Rochester.

While working with a financial buyer on a major acquisition, our Deloitte team quickly realized that we would be critical in helping them start-up the new company. Over a decade has passed and we have built a significant business around these HR services and contributed to the development of several principal candidates for our Human Capital service line.
