David N. Martin is a Principal in the Deloitte Consulting LLP Strategy practice, and U.S. Emerging Market Growth Strategies Leader. David focuses on growth, innovation and corporate strategy in the Life Sciences industry.
David has 15 years of experience formulating and executing strategy projects for global companies. He has led the creation of multiple product and market strategies for global life sciences firms – helping them to leverage the breadth of their portfolios and channels to market across multiple geographies. For the last several years David has worked extensively in emerging markets and has led a number of strategy projects in Brazil, Russia, India, China and Mexico. He is the emerging markets leader for the Deloitte Life Sciences practice and serves as the cross-industry emerging markets lead for the Strategy practice.
He has also led market entry, market creation and product strategies for major pharmaceutical and medical technology firms. David has studied unmet needs for clinicians, payers, providers and patients in the U.S., Asia and Europe across modalities, clinical specialties and other areas. David also leads the Life Sciences practice involved in helping clients develop health reform strategies. In this capacity, he has advised life sciences companies in Health Information Technology (HIT) strategies in response to health reform around the globe.
