Harlan Irvine, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP, works with Consumer & Industrial Products companies, particularly those in the Aerospace and Defense industry, to address strategic issues such as growth, planning, performance improvement and supply chain optimization.
Since beginning his consulting career in 1992, Harlan has worked with clients in a variety of industries including aerospace, chemicals, consumer goods, industrial products, medical devices, including eight years in engineering and marketing for the aerospace and chemical industries. Harlan has developed significant Strategy & Operations intellectual property, particularly in the areas of business unit and aftermarket services strategy. He has also helped establish and lead relationships with major A&D clients.
Harlan has deep functional expertise in the areas of growth strategy, strategic planning, performance improvement and supply chain optimization. He is considered a thought leader in the areas of growth strategy and performance improvement and is a frequent contributor to Aviation Week and Space Technology, and a speaker at aerospace and manufacturing industry events.
Harlan earned his Masters of Business Administration from University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
