Marlo Karp is a partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP and has over 20 years of experience in the securities and commodities industry.
Marlo’s work with clients has included assessments of brokerage operations departments, fraud investigations, Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPA) liquidations, compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) net capital rule, Commodity Futures Trading Commission net capital, secured and segregation amount computations, and SEC, New York Stock Exchange and National Association Of Securities Dealers pre- and post-enforcement actions.
Marlo has focused on issues related to supervision and internal control requirements. She has helped clients develop written supervisory procedures and maintenance programs for those procedures. Currently, Marlo is the engagement leader for the SIPA liquidation of a global financial services firm where Deloitte serves as the financial advisor to the SIPA Trustee.
