Bryan Morris is a partner in the Greater Washington, D.C. practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP and is the asset management industry leader for the Southeast Region. He currently serves a variety of investment management clients, including investment managers, registered investment companies, and private investment funds.
From 2007 through 2010, Bryan served as a professional accounting fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant, Division of Investment Management within the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). While on the staff of the SEC, he worked on both accounting and regulatory matters pertaining to investment advisers and investment companies, and provided substantial support to the SEC's revisions of the Custody Rule.
In 2006 and 2007, Bryan was an assistant chief auditor in the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s Office of the Chief Auditor. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche LLP in 1999, where he focused on the audits of asset management and other financial services industry firms.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a CPA licensed in Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
