Andy Hickey is a partner with 19 years of experience serving large public companies in both assurance and consultative roles. He leads the Financial Accounting & Reporting sub-offering in the Financial Accounting, Valuation & Securitization (FAV&S) market offering of Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Over the past 16 years, Andy has primarily worked with energy and manufacturing companies, focused on accounting, auditing and risk control matters. He is responsible for co-leading the integration of our technical accounting services with our finance transformation services. Deloitte believes that in order to most effectively and efficiently satisfy financial reporting requirements, a direct link needs to exist between understanding accounting requirements (i.e., Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and the implementation of processes and technology to support those accounting requirements. The integration of Deloitte’s services in this area is currently focused on the Financial Accounting Standards Board and International Accounting Standards Board convergence projects (i.e., leasing, revenue recognition, financial instruments, etc.) as well as industry-specific pain points that create inefficiency in meeting financial reporting requirements (i.e., financial instrument disclosures, multiple GAAP reporting requirements, etc.).
Andy is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York and New Jersey.
