Meet Naru Navele

Naru is a partner in Deloitte’s Audit and Enterprise Risk Services Advisory practice and leads our Finance & Operations Risk Transformation (F&ORT) offering. F&ORT focuses on helping our clients manage financial and operational risks that result from changes in statutory reporting requirements, market volatility, emerging accounting pronouncements, changes in products and markets, emerging regulatory requirements, third party relationships, corporate actions or events and ongoing business operations.

Naru specializes in the financial services industry, focusing primarily on banks and insurance companies. He has led various projects including financial transformations, merger integrations, Securities and Exchange Commission compliance and reporting readiness projects, financial system implementations, risk and capital management advisory, Basel II implementations and enterprise risk management assessments and implementations. Prior to Deloitte, Naru was with another big four firm and served in their Risk Advisory Services practice.

Naru has an MBA (Finance) from the Wharton School of Business and a Masters in Professional Accounting (Accounting and Information Technology) from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant.
