Meet Scott Rosenfelder

Scott Rosenfelder wants to transform the way technology can enable financial reporting, compliance reporting, regulatory reporting, strategy and performance. As a leader in Deloitte’s Risk Information Services practice, Scott is well-positioned to support and delivery Finance Transformation and External Reporting solutions to our clients. Scott oversees Risk Information Services advisory, implementation and sustainment services around Finance Transformation technology, Disclosure Management, External Reporting and Regulatory Risk solutions.
Rosenfelder joined Deloitte in 2001 and brings 25 years of experience in technology delivery. He has spent the last six years focusing on Finance technology with a strong emphasis on the delivery of eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) in the area of Finance Transformation. Scott is one of Deloitte’s leading subject matter specialists in XBRL and co-leads Deloitte’s National XBRL project management office and vendor alliance program. His area of specialty places emphasis on helping clients to increase their overall effectiveness around compliance, internal controls and enterprise risk services. Scott is well known in the industry and has made numerous presentations at both the US XBRL conference and globally at the International XBRL conference. Scott continues to assist clients today with the implementation and deployment of XBRL in the SEC financial reporting process.

In addition to his Deloitte responsibilities, Rosenfelder works closely with Northern Illinois University through a number of board roles, including the Executive Board for the College of Business. In addition, he supports his local community by volunteer and board work on the local soccer association that provides opportunities to over 4,000 children to play and compete.
Rosenfelder holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University and a Masters of Business Administration in Management and Organizational Behaviors from Benedictine University.
