Carlos Sabater is the national leader of the U.S. Audit practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP, a member of Deloitte’s U.S. Board of Directors, the global Audit and Enterprise Risk Services Growth and Eminence leader for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, and a member of the U.S. Audit and Enterprise Risk Services Executive Committee. In previous roles, Carlos has served as Managing Partner for Deloitte’s Florida and Puerto Rico practices and a member of Deloitte’s U.S. Operating Committee.
With more than 25 years of experience in accounting and auditing, 15 of those as a partner, Carlos has worked with clients in consumer products, healthcare, technology, real estate and other industry sectors. Carlos has served as lead client service partner on numerous Deloitte clients where he worked with management and audit committee members to offer business and industry insights, and accounting and regulatory advice.
Carlos is currently the advisory partner on a number of Deloitte’s clients. As advisory partner, he meets regularly with audit committee members and client management to discuss their assessment of Deloitte’s services and whether client expectations have been met. He also works closely with the lead client service partners on engagements to help provide access to Deloitte resources to deliver high-quality client service.
Throughout his career, Carlos has focused on making sure that Deloitte professionals are delivering consistent, high-quality, high-value client service. His commitment to high-quality client service has kept him actively engaged with Deloitte’s people and key clients, while successfully serving in his leadership positions.
