Teresa Briggs is the Managing Partner for Deloitte LLP’s Silicon Valley practice, located in San Jose. This practice currently includes 900 people serving Silicon Valley’s technology, clean tech and life sciences companies with competencies including consulting, accounting and auditing, tax and financial advisory. Teresa also leads Deloitte’s Silicon Valley Cornerstone Initiative which is a national investment program focused on doubling the size of the Silicon Valley practice and developing Deloitte’s Center for the Edge. The Silicon Valley-based Center helps senior executives make sense of and profit from emerging opportunities on the edge of business and technology.
Teresa has more than 27 years of experience in local and national roles. She was a Mergers & Acquisitions partner serving one of the largest U.S.-based private equity investors, spent six years as the lead audit partner for a Fortune 50 company and currently is responsible for Deloitte’s consultative services to several high profile Silicon Valley companies.
Teresa is a board member in several professional and community organizations: Tech Museum of Innovation, Stanford Technology Ventures Program, University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management Advisory, and Silicon Valley Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
