Many boards which have consummated acquisitions are finding that they are living with the after-effects of acclimating target board members. When the Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) market picks up, it would be helpful for managements and boards to consider the implications of offering board seats to officers and directors of acquired companies as part of an integration plan.
