Michael Fuchs is a principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Human Capital practice and has 21 years of human resources (HR) consulting experience. Michael specializes in the benefit, compensation and HR controls arena, focusing on developing total reward strategies aligned with company goals, performing cost/benefit/risk analysis, determining the appropriate administrative solutions and assisting companies going through major reorganizations, such as mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs.
Michael is also a member of the leadership team for the Governance, Risk and Compliance practice. For the last four years, he has assisted clients with their Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 readiness engagements. He has leveraged his experiences on these engagements and applied them to broader governance, risk and compliance challenges. His specific focus has been finding solutions to challenges organizations face in complying with complex HR regulatory requirements, taking a thoughtful approach to assessing and mitigating HR risks and providing an effective overall governance structure to continue to monitor those risks.
