House Ways and Means Committee Acting Chairman Sander Levin, D-Mich., announced that the Committee will convene a hearing on Wednesday, April 14 at 10 AM EDT to examine energy tax incentives and the green job economy.
The announcement indicates that the Committee will look at the effectiveness of current energy tax policy and also seek to identify additional steps that it can take to encourage continued job growth in the energy area.
