I am motivated by the idea that we can help organizations create value, increase market share and manage risk through helping them look at their businesses in a new way – using their own data, data in the public domain and business drivers. I enjoy managing a group of talented practitioners who deliver these services to our clients.
I lead the Risk and Information Service practice for Deloitte U.S. In my role, I primarily serve finance and risk domains at my clients and manage analytics practitioners who support those areas. Also, I represent Risk in the Deloitte Analytics Integrated Market Offering.
I started my career in the Financial Services industry and continue to be pulled in that direction. Although I have experience in a number of industries, there is a real demand for better data management, analytics and reporting needs in that space.
My most memorable project at Deloitte was an analytics-related technology implementation that was originally intended to be a simple process involving a quick roll-out. During the implementation, the project evolved as the client asked for guidance on how to better measure and manage their business. This provided an opportunity for us to help them look at strategy and data in a more sophisticated way.
Deloitte stands out in the marketplace because of the breadth of services that we bring around analytics. We provide functional, industry and domain insights compared to other organizations that offer technology implementation. We do not sell or implement off-the-shelf packages; rather we deliver a customized, holistic business strategy solution.
I’ve enjoyed working in strategy, operations, risk, finance, and more recently, analytics and technology. When I joined Deloitte, I never expected to have such varied roles and experiences, especially so rapidly in my career.
