Meet Warren L. Clark

Partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP

Warren has almost two decades of domestic and international accounting and auditing experience, including 12 years on location in China. In addition to currently serving as lead audit partner on multiple engagements in Detroit and Philadelphia, Warren also is responsible for Deloitte’s Chinese Services Group in the U.S. Central region. In this role, he assists U.S. companies investing and operating in China and Chinese companies seeking access to U.S. markets.

Prior to returning to the U.S. in 2008, Warren was based in Shanghai, where he managed Deloitte’s relationships with some of the world’s largest companies. As the contact point for overseas Deloitte teams, he coordinated cross-functional services provided by multiple Deloitte offices in the Asia Pacific region.

His broad experience includes auditing financial statements prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS and Chinese accounting standards, as well as involvement with internal control projects and due diligence reviews. He regularly presents on China-related topics and speaks and reads Mandarin Chinese fluently.

Warren is a licensed CPA in Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York and California. He is on the Accounting Advisory Board and teaches as an adjunct professor at Drexel University. He received an MBA in international business and bachelor degrees in accounting and Chinese from the University of Utah.
