Gerardo is a partner with Deloitte’s Financial Advisory practice in Mexico and the leader of the country’s Reorganization and Restructuring Services area. With over 18 years of Restructuring and M&A experience, Gerardo´s main area of focus is leading large and complex restructuring advisory and corporate finance assignments. Gerardo has participated in a variety of international assignments specifically in the financial sector and in companies of the public and private sector in Canada, Ecuador, Mexico and the US. These have involved the assessment of corporate groups, acquisition of targets and divestment candidates to advise private equity funds, institutions, creditor groups and corporate clients.
Education
Gerardo holds an MBA degree from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE) and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Accounting from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico.
