Thomas L. "Toby" Kilgore III is a principal in the Strategy and Operations practice within Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Financial Services Industry group, with a focus on banking. Toby has more than 20 years of experience working with the senior management of large domestic and international institutions. He has experience across an array of businesses, including retail banking, wealth management, middle market and corporate banking, payments and life insurance. Areas of focus have included corporate, market and product strategy development, operational effectiveness and organizational transformation. Most recently, Toby has been leading initiatives involving creation of customer-centric organizations and end-to-end cost optimization.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Toby was a partner at a financial services group, where he had various key responsibilities. Toby also held senior positions at two other financial services groups.
Toby received a master of business administration degree from Harvard University and a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Vanderbilt University, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
